Help with verizon wireless upgrade!?
Im eligible for an upgrade on January 9, however I honestly need to get my cell phone upgraded as soon as possible. Is it possible I can still upgrade early/ cancel my contract even though I have less than 2 weeks til my upgrade?
I can only go to the Verizon Store around next week, leaving me only about a week til the contract expire.

Yes Verizon will let you upgrade to a new phone. You do not need to wait until January 9th, 2013 since you only have close to a week left. However once you upgrade to a new phone then you will be renewing your contract for another 2 years until January 2015.
If you do decide to cancel or closed your account, then yes you have to wait until after January 9th, 2013. You can not cancel early or else Verizon will give you a early termination fee on your bill.

you're eligible for improve 3 months before earlier on your settlement date ending. No before that. as an occasion in case you settlement date ends 10/23/09 then you definately are eligible for a improve 7/23/09. in case you have any question call Verizon shopper Care.

Well it depends on the store. However say that " can I upgrade 1 week early". Stores can vary depending on management.
You can also call VERZION directly and explain.
