How early can I check in for my flight?

Question

So, I'm flying from Columbus, Ohio to Houston, Texas on US Airways to visit family tomorrow. I usually check in about an hour and a half early for domestic flights but my boyfriend has to go to work early tomorrow and he is the only ride I can get to the airport. The latest he can drop me off at the airport is a little over 3 hours early for my flight.

Can I check in for a domestic flight 3 hours early?

Yes it will not be a problem.  You should be at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight anyway.  Just bring something to do while you wait for your flight.

Most airlines allow checking in for flights at least 3 hours before the flight departs, you should have no problems checking in at the time you mention.

There really isn't a certain time you have to check in so you can check in 3 hours before your flight. Good luck and have a safe flight :)

you can check in up to 24 hours in advance if you want to do it online which is the easier way. 

yes he can drop you off 3 hours prior to your flight and you can check in then and there if you want to.
