p8z77 onboard graphics problem?

hey guys, i removed my 7870 from my computer because of some issues and took it for replacement and until the new gpu arrives i connected my onboard graphics with my monitor. it does not show anything! i tried resetting the bios but still nothing. i checked the bios for Multi-GPU and iGPU but i did not find them. any suggestions?

thanks

Update:

FstaRocka, thanks for the reply. i have 2x4gb of ram but i use it on 1&3 slots because the slot 0 is taken by the cpu cooler. its kind of big =p are u sure this might be the problem?

Update 2:

thats odd.. i suggest trying to get it go into the bios, and then turniong the monitor on and off.. sometimes the onboard needs that power switch to activate.

also try moving your ram around, sometimes onboard vga cards require ram in the numerical first slot of the board, either slot zero or one, its usually printed next to the dimm slot, only do this if u are competent, a wrongly inserted dimm can ruin the ram, board and more. make sure BOTH ends clip in by themselves and u are good to go :)

    good luck..

each and every thing looks bueno bueno different than for the GPU. The 650 is terrible. sluggish, not even seen a overall performance card--that's the threshold between low-end and mid-variety. Get a extra appropriate card, like the GTX 660 and above. in case you won't be in a position to flow lots bigger, a GTX 650 Ti enhance might do (or the GTX 650 Ti in case you may). yet make specific to get 2GB of VRAM, as this might very much help you in overall performance. in case you do get yet another photos card, up the PSU somewhat (like 50W).
