Protect Myself from a Psychopath?
Here's the short version:
A man threatened to kill me. He also asked me where I lived (I didn't tell him, and I told him to leave me alone).
How can I best protect myself?
I don't think he owns a gun, and I don't want to buy one. But would it be safer just to have one?

dont try to deal with a psycho on your own, go to the police and yeah you should buy a gun if it makes you feel safer and will help you sleep

Go to the police get a restraining order. Maybe you should move in with someone else for a while just so he can't track you down.
