When I see The Hobbit, should I watch it in 3D?

Doesn't add to the experience much. You won't miss anything if you only see it in a normal way.

Just saw The Hobbit in 3D yesterday. You can totally see the difference between 2D and 3D. I thought it was really good. Cannot wait till the second installment, that being next December 13.

P.S A big fan of LOTR and The Hobbit. Much better than the usual Hollywood blowing everything up thriller movies and crap like that.

No. I saw the hobbit in 3d and you don't notice a difference.

I think the movie would be way better without the 3D because it's so long and you have to sit there with stupid big glasses on your head.

So don't watch it in 3D because the glasses are uncomfortable,you won't notice a difference and it costs more money.

Watching it in 2d would be cheaper more comfortable and you won't even notice a difference.

I even have seen IMAX movies, and IMAX 3-D movies. I observed the Hobbit in real 3-D (no longer IMAX), and there incredibly isn't something particular to justify the further expenses. perhaps IMAX without 3-D for the super show, for the latter component of the action picture. yet that is approximately it.

well 3D glasses irritate my eyes after awhile and this movie goes for 3 hours it's not worth it in my opinion

it's a great movie and well worth seeing, but dont waste your money on the 3-D its just a gimmik save some money and see the normal version and bring in a bottle of water or soda in your purse.

Yes. See it in 48fps 3D and you won't regret it. It's an awesome experience
