What is the Key to this chord progression: C G A# F G#?

And what scale would be appropriate?

The progression moves down stepwise, the notes in each chord would be:

    C, E, G

    B, D, G

    Bb, D, F (enharmonic to A# (same))

    A, C, F

Ab, C, Eb (enharmonic to G#)

I would just go off of those chord tones as it moves through; I don't know of a scale that would fit all of it.

Well, you need to provide the tonality (major or minor). These notes are enharmonically incorrect, in terms of identifying key, in relation maj or min key signatures.

    I'd use Bb or F7
