Holland to UK postage question?

My friend has sent me a package from holland and the packages normally take 4 days to arrive. She sent the package on Monday. Do I count Monday as one of the four days or not? Sorry, if I haven't explained very well :)

No. If she is sending an international package, Monday will not count as one of the four days. So it could arrive Saturday, next Monday at the VERY latest.

It would all depend what time she sent it Monday. If its late, so its not "processed" until the next day, then no don't count it. If it was first thing, you can, but like the above poster correctly points out, with Xmas not only closing things for a few days, but creating extra work, things are going to be a bit delayed. Tuesday and Weds were bank holidays here, so you may not get it til Monday or even Weds next week.

Yes you can, but don't forget it is Christmas and there is probably quite a backlog of post, so it may take a couple of days longer than normal. I would expect you to get it next Monday or Wednesday.

Depends how early in the day she posted it,whether it caught that days' outgoing mail. In any case, Tuesday and Wednesday don't count this week, nor Tuesday next week, so your first day might not have been until Thursday.
