I have malware in my computer, which is the best program to get rid of this and is also an antivirus?

Update:

Question: after I do a full scan with the malwarebytes, do I keep it installed in my computer along with the avg?

The problem I have is that lots of pages keep popingup and I can't stop that, I've used the configuration to block them and also an adblock from chrome and from foxfire, but its getting worse

Thank you all

Update 2:

I tried everything and nothing but someone recommended adwcleaner.exe and it worked! I leave this as a tip for all and thank you

Start with malware bytes. Run that - a full scan - and let it get rid of stuff.

Then move on to AVG, install, run full scan, etc. then leave it installed.

It would be helpful to know what type of malware it is..

Malwarebytes can be kept with AVG since the two do not conflict..

But since the problem ISN'T yet resolved,

    You can try:

Rkill can stop the processes from running.

Adwcleaner can get rid of some malware, too.

Vundo has popup ads.. if you have Virtumonde/MS Juan/Etc I can't help you, nobody can..

    Malwarebytes you have tried already.

Did you try Sophos? It may be able to remove it.

    Vipre could try to help.

    Panda could help.

Hitman Pro can probably detect the rootkit and the malware and successfully remove it off the bat.

I doubt Trend Micro would be able to help, but you may still try it.

Norton I also doubt could help, but you could try it.

Trojan Killer could find it, but you have to pay to remove it, still it is legitimate.

Avast! might be able to help too.

    Other antiviruses/stuff you can use:

    Combofix

    Avira

    CA

    CheckPoint ZoneAlarm

    Clam Antivirus

    Dr. Web CureIt

    Dr. Web

    F-Secure

Things that will further prevent another infection:

    Comodo Internet Security

    Norton Internet Security

    What you SHOULDN'T use:

    STOPzilla

    SpyDig

a program that has alot of spelling mistakes and seems like it is fake.

Free programs that you are supposed to pay for. (most come with viruses)

If you have virtumonde, you may have it because it DOES cause popups..

Some details of the symptoms would help, but...

    Try this:

Firstly, boot your computer to the Safe Mode menu screen. You do this by repeatedly pressing F8 as soon as you boot up. Once there, use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode with Networking. Continue to boot from there, by pressing Enter. You will now see some drivers being loaded. There will be a pause at some point. This usually lasts for no more than 30 seconds.

If that’s successful, open your browser, copy and paste this link into the address bar and press Enter. It's a direct download for RKill. Save it to your desktop, then run it. It takes just a minute to run. When it's running, your desktop icons will vanish for a few seconds. When the notepad report is displayed, just close it.

    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/rkill...

RKill SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THE INFECTION FROM RUNNING, BUT IT WON'T HAVE REMOVED IT.

Now open your browser and copy and paste this link into the address bar, and press Enter. It's a direct download for the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM). Install it, get updates and run a full scan (still in Safe Mode):

    http://www.myantispyware.com/mbam

You should now delete RKill, as updated versions are often made available. Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware is easy to uninstall, but it may prove to be beneficial in the future.

After this, try rebooting normally. If that's successful, I recommend you run another full scan with MBAM. It will detect malware that wasn't running in Safe Mode.

    Hope this helps.

I up dated my AVG antivirus utility, then downloaded and put in Spybot S&D and advert-conscious and ran all of them (not on the comparable time) and between the three considered one of them could are transforming into rid of it, because of the fact I now not have 500 pop united statesfor the Anti Virus gentle. I had a bad situation with this malware and that i don't understand the place it got here from. yet attempt updating your antivirus software and downloading the failings i discussed and run them and see if that helps.

It is difficult to pick a BEST. The Department of Defense used McAfee. I've worked with corps that use Symantec/Norton.

I use AVG, because it is free (free for life) and has worked really well. With ~300 viruses out a month, some will slip through, especially zero day attacks. Avast may miss one that AVG picks up and vice versa.

You can download AVG antivirus (free.avg.com). This is totally free. Make sure you pick the free one; it is close to the paid version. Make sure you update the antivirus after you have it installed.

Restart your computer and hit the f8 key at the top of your keyboard (approx. once every second) while the computer is starting up. You will see a text only menu of options. Select "Safe Mode".

It looks like garbage all over the screen. Be patient. It will eventually get you into Safe Mode. Once you see the usual familiar graphic Windows look, find the AVG installation and run it to scan for viruses.

Safe Mode disables all but necessary services. This includes viruses, so it is easier to get rid of "smart viruses".

After that, the antivirus will prevent infections.

There are two security softwares I recommend. Avira and MalwareBytes. You can install Avira and try to remove the malware. Here is a video tutorial on how to do it. http://www.tubeschool.net/watch/?v=932

And if it not successful try malwarebytes. It is specifically designed for malwares.

You can use avira as antivirus. It is free.
