Real and not real. Real in terms of what we are; unreal in terms of what we have. In other words, and now, speaking metaphorically, when God formed man from the dust of the earth, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. To become is to be and not to have. Therefore, soul is what we are and not what we have. In other words, soul is the combination of breath of life in the body. At death, when the body goes back to the dust and the breath of life goes back to God Who gave it, the combination is undone and the soul is nonexistent.

I believe what the Bible has to say about souls. Genesis 2:7 doesn't say that man was given a soul but that he became a soul, a living person. The bible also says that animals are souls. Consider Leviticus 24:17, 18 - "In case a man strikes any soul [Hebrew, ne'phesh] of mankind fatally, he should be put to death without fail. And the fatal striker of the soul [Hebrew, ne'phesh] of a domestic animal should make compensation for it, soul for soul." Notice that the same Hebrew word for soul is applied to both mankind and animals.

The word “soul” appears over 850 times in the Bible, including more than 100 times in its Greek form. It basically refers to mortal, living creatures, either human or animal. (1 Corinthians 15:45; James 5:20; Revelation 16:3) The apologists, however, twisted this Bible teaching by linking it with Plato’s philosophy that the soul is separate from the body, invisible and immortal. Minucius Felix even asserted that belief in the resurrection had its early beginnings in Pythagoras’ teaching of the transmigration of the soul. How far Greek influence had led them from the teachings of the Bible!

The soul is real and it contains the essence of emotions and intellect.
When yolu die:
Your body turns to dirt in the ground and the soul goes back to the Lord who made it.
may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
James 2:26
For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Ecclesiastes 12:7
And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

Depends on if the soul is made of: Oxygen, Sulfur, Carbon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, or Phosphorus. As for after death, the light at the end of the tunnel is proven to be a sudden influx of electrical conductance once the brain ceases to function.

It's real and unseen. What kind of question is this? Every living things got soul. You can't see it. It's beyond our imagination to think about it.

Humans aren't immortal, there are no such things as souls, the universe wasn't created for us.
