And by "we" I mean humanity as a whole. Including Newton. Including Einstein. And all of the Shakespeares, Platos, and Di Vincis. And even those grammatically correct, quip-filled, hard-studied Jeopardy gameshow contestants.
Are we stupid? What makes us so smart? What makes you so smart?

My thoughts entirely, mate. We are the least spiritually evolved, most idiotic species in the universe. Have you ever noticed that those who use their noddle (brains - people like Einstein or Da Vinci, for example) are usually also very non-religious? Mind you, you don't need to be 'smart' to be spiritually evolved, you just need to understand the game that has been played on humanity for thousands of years.

Nah. Depends on genetics, enviorment.. Lots of things. It is mostly due to Brainwashing and Fear.
