Can anyone tell me how to change out the keyboard on a Toshiba A-105?

I have several key that are hard to use and I bought a new keyboard and need to know if someone can tell me how to replace the old one. Someone told me to take off the back, but the keyboard actually looks like it should "pop" in from the front. Can't find anything on Toshiba's web site.

Update:

Thanks everyone. I followed instructions and got the key board exchanged and when I tried to turn computer on, the screen is black. It seems to have power, but no screen. Could it have just gone out, did I do something to it, could I have disconnected it somehow???

remove battery, remove all screws and panels from the base of the laptop, remove removable components such as ram and network card, optical disk, hdd etc. sometimes you will be looking for a screw near the middle but it is actually a screw that the network card screws into or is underneath something.

Turn laptop on its lid, remove battery, there should be three screws in the battery bay, remove them, at two corners of the laptop level with battery bay there are two more screws, remove them.

put laptop on its base and lay the lid open flat back as far as you can.

This is the hard bit, you have to pry the power strip off by putting a flat end screwdriver into each hinge cover ( the semi circle plastic) and forcing it up gently but forcefully, it should lift up at the back and slide back and up.

There will be two screws holding the keyboard down and a clip in the middle that you also push towards the lid and then lift K/B up.

The K/B ribbon cable slots in, to release it gently lift each side of the brown/grey tab holding ribbon in and the old one will slide out.

Fitting is a reverse of above but be careful not to force it as there are pins inside the slot that bend very easily.

I hope i have explained well and good luck
