Where do you stand on the Fiscal Cliff Negotiations?

It seems there are 4 sides.

1. - Democrats who believe there is a Fiscal Cliff. They want a law passed to extend the Bush Tax cuts for all but the rich. They feel if this does not happen, the less rich will not have enough money to buy stuff and the economy will tank. However, if only the rich pay more, the economy will be just fine, and it will not hurt employment.

2. - Democrats who do not believe there is a Cliff (Huffington Post). They want what #2 wants, but they feel it was Wall Street who conjured up this story. They think if nothing passes, our economy will hurt but not as much. They also feel the stocks will not tank at a 30% decrease, as predicted by Wall Street.

3. - Republicans who believe in the Cliff. They want the cuts to be extended permanently. They feel, that if we extend for all but the rich, the rich will stop hiring, and the economy will tank.

4. - Republicans who do not believe in the Cliff. People like Donald Trump. He calls it a Fiscal Curb. He thinks Republicans should use the fear of the Cliff to their advantage.

So which one are you?

If the largest most extensive militaristic police state empire since Genghis Khan falls off a cliff, then I will never know what hit me beyond that it must have come from above.

By law, the Budget bills have to be initiated in the House. BHO is a self proclaimed "great compormiser". It is time he put those skills to work. With the House being Republican, he is probably going to have to do a lot of compromising to not be impotent.

America has already spend the money and there is nothing anyone can do to prevent fiscal disaster.

The politicians are just busy trying to blame it on someone else.

Anyone who has raised kids will understand this behavior.
