A question about Facebook postings...?
Every now and again, I'll see a posting with a picture of some sort. With the picture are instructions that go something like Click "like" and wait five seconds and see what happens. Or "Type 5 and see what happens." Anyhow, to date, NOTHING ever happens. What's the story here? If nothing happens then why make the posting? Can someone enlighten me? Thanks in advance.

None of those work. It's just a way to get people to like a post, similar to posting something along the lines of "Like this if you hate cancer, ignore it if you don't"... For more about the reason people do that you can read this: http://daylandoes.com/facebook-like-scams/

it's usually a shortcut to like the photo or just generally a trick to get you to like the photo, nothing happens after, people are just too lazy to unlike after nothing happens
