Binga, I'm not a huge Cowan fan either, but you need him there in case we need to throw out a sheet anchor at some point. It's as boring as buggery, but still needed when early wickets tumble.

Not bad, especially since Clarke would still be recovering from his hamstring problem. Maxwell's figures don't really inspire as an allrounder so agree with you there. With the game in Sydney, would you play an extra spinner? Warner is good for a few overs but probably not as one of the teams two spinners, remembering Sydney normally favours spin. Siddle, Johnson and Starc have all had their rotation off so who gets the axe? Has to be Bird. If they rest Clarke, I'd play Khawaja at 4 and Cosgrove at 5. I wouldn't have Hussey as captain perhaps Wade as a one off.

Seems good,though I'm not keen on Cowan,he hasn't done all that much for an opener.I'm sure there's someone doing better in a state team somewhere.I like your choice of Cpt & VC.
