ever heard of verified-single.com?
I talked to this girl from craigslist and she sent a bunch of photos that all matched up, they were all of the same person, same house, and she even sent me some texts. the area code is not of my area even though she is looking for people in my area. She is from the same state though. She said that the only way she will feel safe to meet is to go through a site called verified-single.com and here is her page http://petrina-morales.verified-single.com/

There are scam busting sites with online lists of the names scammers use, their fake job offes, their email addresses, stock copy/paste emails, paid-for-in-cash cell phone numbers, stolen pictures and fake websites they use. You could start your search and post/ask at such sites.
If you have responded to a scammer, you are on his 'potential sucker' list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.
Do you know how to check the header of a received email? If not, you could google for information. Being able to read the header to determine the geographic location an email originated from will help you weed out the most obvious scams and scammers. Then delete and block that scammer. Don't bother to tell him that you know he is a scammer, it isn't worth your effort. He has one job in life, convincing victims to send him their hard-earned cash.
Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even partial sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.

Hey guys, you're not alone. I got the same crap from an ad I responded to on craiglist. Only this time, the scammer is parading as Verdell Sanders. Below is the response I received:
to be honest with you Im feeling both excited and a bit worried at the same time.Ive had a bad experience meeting someone online about a year agomet the wrong guy basically.
Im willing to give this a shot with youIm in the mood for a sexy time just have to use my brain this time. Know what I mean?
I use a free service now on verified dating which is kind of like yahoo chat it verifies age and scans the sex offenders database before allowing someone to join. I think it costs a dollar to run the verification and this gives you access to my profile and their whole dating site. My cell number is on the profile so if you come up as safe you can give me a call when your inside.
I know it sounds kind of paranoid but if you do this verification for me that verified dating provides Ill know you are real and safe to meetup withI only work part-time so im around alot. I have nothing to gain by asking you this except it will make me feel safe, if you were a woman who has been through what I have youd know the feeling. If you have a webcam we can video chat too as they have that inside, but really I just wanna make sure you pass the checks. If you want I will get topless on my cam for you during our chat as a welcome gift. Would that make you feel welcome? lol. Ive been told I have very nice breasts alot of times.if that means anything.
Their verification page is http://verdell-sanders.verified-single.com/
If you think Im just being paranoid or you come up as an offender then I am going to be left all disappointed. Oh and that site also proves my age as they verify everyone including women. I doubt you were worried about that its just a little friendly assurance that Im not jail bait as they say lol. Im in my twenties. Also Im getting real thirsty Im gonna make a blueberry smoothie will be away from the comp, but please give my cell a ring once youve been verified and your on my profile.
I attached a small gift for you that I just took today.

I have also been contacted by petrina and also found another name she is using on the same site with same pics Janita Roberts.... the site verified-single.com does not exist only the pages they have created with that name... i have also been contacted by another person a Elda morgan, also has a profile page created... the entire operation seems to be a well though out scam... the biggest clue is that this wonderful site they are using doesnt have a homepage... only the created members pages... sad really because the idea is a wonderful one if it was real! the email they are using the @economyhostingprovider.com is a webpage creator website itself and further adds to how these pages are being made for our viewing... report all that you find to the known scammer alert pages and always do some research before giving out card info!

I had a similar experience. Its a fraud. I was speaking with two women over craigslist at the same time and they both sent a very similar email prompting me to use the website. It asks for a cc and looks a lot like a scam
good luck
