This might sound "well duh !!!" but can people with allergy to peanuts consume peanut oil?

It has come to my attention that the processing of peanut oil the allergens are removed or is this just a myth? btw I do not have a peanut allergy.

    I think it depends on the individual. My daughter can not have anything that has been in peanut oil. Her mouth gets itchy than she vomits. My friends son with the same allergy/same age doesn't have any reaction.
