I will have a BS in biology in 5 months. What do I need to do to become a registered or licensed dietitian?

Also, which internships would compensate for my degree not fully being in nutrition?

Um...if you want to be an RD, you need a degree in dietetics (or any variation of the name). You cannot major in anything else whatsoever and there is no way around it. So if you want to be an RD, you need to go back and take all those classes. You probably covered the core science classes though with a degree in biology. Also, tote that not all nutrition degrees qualifies you to take the next part in becoming an RD. There are some degrees that are more geared towards research or community nutrition instead of dietetics.

After that, you then can apply for a dietetic internship, which is needed to become an RD.
