I will have a BS in biology in 5 months. What do I need to do to become a registered or licensed dietitian?
Also, which internships would compensate for my degree not fully being in nutrition?
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness8 years agoWhat are some career options?
I am a junior in college, soon to graduate with my BA in biology. I have bounced around from many career paths, and while that is normal to an extent, I am very ready to settle on a career. Through normal, daily interaction with others, realization hit & I found I enjoy being around older people and always have been more comfortable and relaxed when talking and working with them. So I would like to put my biology degree to use & actually be in a field where I'm getting some benefit from it and also be able to concentrate on geriatrics.
I do not have a nursing degree or a PT or OT degree. What are some feasible Careers with a biology degree which Also focus on or involve geriatrics?
Side note: I know there are downsides to working with an age group so far into life, and this is taken into consideration. However, I still wish to pursue a career in geriatrics and am grateful for any advice, ideas, and insight into this field.
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoThis career possible with a Bachelor's in biology?
I'm currently working on my bachelor's in biology & am looking at many options I would enjoy working in after I graduate. I know the career I'm about to mention looks more at people with degrees in communication and marketing, but what is the likelihood of landing a job as a medical marketer with a degree in biology? Any information about the career is welcome as well :) Thank you!
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoMedical Field Career Help?
I'm 18, a junior in college, and honestly burned out on school work. I've always been interested in the medical field and still am, but I don't quite enjoy the thought of going through 4 more years of college after next year (I know, kind of comes with the territory). I have spent days searching through job lists and "What You're Best At!" tests and have found nothing other than the popular careers such as doctor and pharmacist.
Any advice on medical careers that require less than 6 years of college is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time!
