I'm 5'7 and weight 140 lbs and want to be 120-130. I have a exercise bike and I'm just wondering how many calories I will need to consume and how long will I need to work out on the bike for to loose about 10-20 lbs in a month?

Do not listen to the poster that advised eating less than or equal to 1000 calories a day unless you want to mess up your metabolism.
I don't recommend losing weight quickly. Aim for a loss of about 2lbs a week for the best results. 3,500 calories is approximately one pound if it is consumed in excess. 3,500 multiplied by 2 is 7,000. To lose 2 lbs in a week, you will need to cut 7,000 calories each week. That's 1,000 calories a day. I recommend taking away 200 calories each day and exercising the 800 off. While I know exercising away 800 calories seems hard, it's not once you get up to the level. I recommend investing in a HR monitor. Try to just cut 500 calories a day for a month, and as your fitness level increases, your newly- developed muscle mass will demand more calorie burn in your sleep meaning you won't have to work as hard. In addition to that, your muscular endurance will increase meaning you can ride your exercise bike for longer periods of time. It's a beautiful cycle.
