Jews: How do you feel knowing that your future Messiah will be the Anti-Christ?

How do you feel about that?

Update:

@ Israelite Soldier, the book of Revelations, and Jesus's testimony. You rejected the true Messiah for an imposter!

Update 2:

@ Israeoite soldier, I obviously am.

Update 3:

@ H, Yeshua is the way, the truth and the life. Choose him and repent. You're not bound to become christian, Messianic Judaism is just fine.

Update 4:

You'd rather die than accept the truth? That's so sad. There's also hidden wisdom in the Torah, such as:

Hebrew to English:

Adam

Man

Seth

Appointed

Enosh

Mortal

Kenan

Sorrow;

Mahalalel

The Blessed God

Jared

Shall come down

Enoch

Teaching

Methuselah

His death shall bring

Lamech

The Despairing

Noah

Rest, or comfort.

"Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow; (but) the Blessed God shall come down teaching (that) His death shall bring (the) despairing rest."

What do you think? Stop denying that Jesus is God.

Update 5:

@ H, Get your head out of there, and accept the truth. Yeshua is the light that shines through the darkness. He is the roaring lion of Judah!! The God for all times. The Prince of Peace.

Update 6:

@ Israelite, I never said it was in the bible. All I'm saying is that this Messiah which you Jews are going on about will be the Anti-Christ. That is it. Denying it is self delusion. Accept Yeshua as your saviour my friend.

Update 7:

@ H, The answer is clear in Genesis, Jesus is God. I kept in contact with the most high for the past few months, and he gave me all the wisdom I needed to accept Yeshua. At first, I wasn't sure about Yeshua being who he said he was, but it was revealed to me. Jesus saves! I don't mean to be offensive, I just want you to be saved. It's because of the love in my heart for all of those whoa re going astray.

Update 8:

@ Israelite Soldier, the Book of Revelations essentially states that everyone who rejects Yeshua will be for the Anti-Christ, since this Anti-Christ, and the character of the Messiah you Jews want are about the same, I see no reason why they aren't. Everyone who knows anything knows that your Messiah will be the Anti-Christ.

Update 9:

@ Eliezer, Jesus is my future.

Update 10:

@ Dean, what exactly is the difference? All it takes is one thing - to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour. That is it. That is all it takes. Also, how have I insulted anyone?

Update 11:

@ Dean, again I insulted no body. I simply said the truth. Jesus said that the Pharisees were the children of Satan, so how is what I said any different? I didn't say it with malevolent intentions... I just intended to say the truth.

It's a stupid thing to say, with a little bit of hate and ignorance thrown in. I'm not really that relgious but we do need to try and respect each others religions. All three religions end at the top of the same mountain. They're just taking different paths to get up there. Judaism is the most tolerant path I believe. It also happens to be the Mother of the three. Your post Is rather like me asking the question, "How do you feel knowing that your Messiah, quite clearly wasn't the Messiah at all, but simply a Jewish Rabbi with a vivid imagination?" As you are well aware, the Jewish faith didn't recognise Jesus as the Messiah 2000 years ago, and from a Jewish point of view, nothing has changed in that time to make us think any differently.

You can't threaten the idea of an anti christ to a people who firstly, don't believe in the kind of hell that you and Islam believe in, and secondly find yeshua irrelevent, besides the fact that unknowingly to him, his teachings would contribute to making his entire peoples lives a story of struggle for 2 millenia. From a personal point of view, I am more than aware that I'm one of the first generations thats been prejudice free.

I'm taking a wild guess that christianity invented the hell concept, in order to control people who disagreed with them and equally as important on their global mission to help with the persuation of converting. Islam plagerised the idea from you for the same reasns but turned hell into a much crueler place. Judaism doesn't scare it's children into the idea that you either believe or burn for eternity. On the contrary. It encourages all it's children to question everything. It's healthier that way and a lot more genuine.

Jews don't continually post such hatefull comments in the Christian sections. we respect our Christian neighbours and value the strong support that many of them give to Israel. One of the beliefs of Judaism, is it allows and supports the idea of non Jews getting to heaven. Therfore for a Jew to make up a comment to discredit your chances of a happy afterlife, then posting it, would not only be ignorant but pointless. The Jews never asked for half of the world to take on a form of their religion, then be treated attrociously for two millenia. Jesus would have been outraged. Don't forget that he never heard ot the concept of Christianity. It was more his style of Judaism. There's a Jewish British historian who argues that the Jewish people should claim Jesus back as one of their greats. I mean the bloodshed and misery that the younger two religions have caused over the last two milenia is unforgiveable. The wars and mass murders. The golbal mission, forceing people to convert with the threat of death. Saying that though, you are a minority of Christians who post like that. They're not a bad folk these days. Now we're all waiting for Islam to catch up.

You should learn a little more about Judaism if you're gonna post questions like that. I attend a Liberal Judaism Shul every now an again. You should find one and go one time. I'm serious. Break down some that hate. It's very inclusive and informal. You may even feel like you've come home. It welcomes non Jews as friends. Our rabbi even does cermoneys in the temple for our gay members who are making a life commitment. I believe adapting to the times is what will keep the oldest religion going for another 3000 years.

Everything is in English (not Hebrew). Bring a guitar and some veggie food, lol. It's everything that the hard line Islamists on Y/A despise about modern Judaism. And that's what makes it so good! Hashem is very much with his modern Jewish people and is probably confused at christian comments against Jews. Even more so as to why Islamists turned him into this scary man called Allah. btw that's more religious than i've sounded in a long time. :)))

How does it feel to fail as a Christian?

Since, according to real Christian teachings, you wouldn't insult a people in such as way.

Also, I'm pretty sure Jesus wouldn't abandon his birth people like that. That always struck me as an anti-Christian thought as well. Oh well, guess it doesn't help that I'm Jewish, but from what my Christian friends have told me (and I have many), I have the correct line of thought.

I accept the same G-d as Jesus. That should be enough. I also accept the morals and values that Jesus would like to see in his fellow man, and I'm confident most Jews are the same way. As such, the "Anti-Christ" bs doesn't make sense to me.

@ asker - for starters, you tell the Jews that their Messiah essentially is the most evil of people imaginable. That's an insult. I fail to understand how you can miss that.

Also - the difference is really theological. The Jews believe that Jesus wasn't, the Christians believe that Jesus was. There are other things here and there but the only way to truly distinguish is on theological grounds such as that. As such, many Christians do question a rather groundless logic that says that the Jews' Messiah will be their anti-Christ.

You got any proof to back up your claims?

    @ asker

So tell me are you a Christian?

Hmmm.... Im pretty sure I have seen you in the ramadan section defending Islam before.

But assuming you are a Christian, show me some verses that clearly state that jews will follow the anti Christ?

    @ Asker

I asked you for proof and you said that the book of revelations was proof, Im now asking you to show me verses that clearly state that jews will follow the anti Christ. So are you going back on your claims now? Show me verses if you have proof. According to you the book of revelations is proof, so show me the verses of proof?

    @ Asker

So in other words it doesnt state that jews will follow the anti christ. Your just assuming that they will. I personally think that you are listening to too many end times preachers on TV who are stating their own opinions as facts. ( I think I saw Chuck Misler tell an audience that rundown of names and meanings that you just posted)

If you are looking for indication of who will follow the anti christ I suggest you look into Islamic scripture. It states that in a time of turmoil a man will come called the Mahdi with Jesus (like the beast and the false prophet) and they will establish Islamic rule all over the world, the Mahdi will reign for 7 years and there will be a beast that will come up from the earth and mark the foreheads of Muslims and non muslims etc.

Do me a favour and just do your own research and stop taking people opinions as facts.

Reading your question makes me feel lucky to be Jewish. Baruch Hashem, the truth to us is not something we only "believe" in, it is something we know. It is clear, concrete, logical, we live it and breath it everyday of our lives, as we have ever since we existed.

Christians, I think it's time to let you go of your idols. In an age where knowledge is so easily obtained, I'm having a difficult time understanding how people still don't see the truth. If Christians were honest (and educated, and seekers of truth), on May 5th 1948 all Priests and Popes in the world would have thrown away their church keys to the sea, come together and openly admit they were wrong for spilling our blood for 2000 years while crying "you are evil, you are hated and abandoned by god, we have replaced you, you will never go back to Israel". Reality hits in the face, but the lies go on and on and on....

Truth prevails, I'm not worried about that, but I just pain over the way the world is today - full of so many lies, coming from every direction possible. Good thing God made us stiff-knecked.

@ Messiniac Judaism is Christianity pagan idoltry lie as is the rest of Christianity. I'd rather die.

Sweety, who's anscestors stood on Mount Sinai and received the Torah? Who did God say he chose to be His witnessess? I'd rather die than accept lies. Don't bother answering, this is a waste of my time.

The future messiah will NOT be the Antichrist. I have noticed the similarities between what the Bible says we should expect from the messiah and the messianic era and what the NT says will be the hallmarks of the Antichrist before. This is troubling because any Christian who thinks the true messiah is in fact the Antichrist opens him- or herself up to thinking to oppose the true messiah, which Scripture says is a plan doomed to fail.

    For example,

"And he shall delight in the fear of God; and he will not pass judgment on the basis of mere appearances nor give verdict on the basis of rumor; but will judge the poor justly and decide with equity for the poor of the land; and he shall smite the land with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And justice shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the belt around his waist... No one shall hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of God just as the waters fill the sea!" (Isaiah 11:1-16)

"Edom will be demolished" - This refers to David, (as it is written [Cf. II Samuel 8:6 and 8:14], "Edom became the servants of David"); "his enemy, Seir, will be destroyed" - This refers to Moshiach, (as it is written [Obadiah 1:21], "Saviors will ascend Mount Zion [to judge the mountain of Esau....]").

["Edom" in the parlance of 2nd Temple Israel was the code given to Rome, and therefore, the Christian church. Any Christian(s) who think to oppose the messiah will be crushed.

Plus, the NT and ALL of the "prophecies" therein are false teachings; there will be no "antichrist"

  • The anti-Christ will be a muslim. He is the one that the muslims call "Al-mahdi."

    @R calling me names again.

The Mahdi will rule over the earth, the antichrist will rule over the earth

The Mahdi will commit genocide against the jews and try to reconquer Israel for islam, the antichrist will commit genocide against the jews and try to reconquer Israel for islam.

The Mahdi will be a miraculous provider and will be loved by all, the antichrist will be a miraculous provider and will be loved by all

The Mahdi will ride on a white horse, the antichrist will ride on a white horse (this is the most blatant and obvious one)

    Source(s): Your Mahdi=Our AntiChrist

The one eyed false messiah (Anti Christ is a bad translation) will come out of Iran with 70k men and women.

I bet you also believe like the majority of Jewish adherents that Messenger Moses peace is upon him received the commandments at mount Sinai in Egypt instead of Mount Musa some where else.
