You say marshmallows....not all of these work just as marshmallows - you need to make smores (like marshmallows but marshmallows sandwiched together with wafers or crackers)

ANY SPREAD - chocolate spread, peanut butter, any ice cream sauce (strawberry, etc), jam

BISCUIT SMORES - I love this! Get two chocolate digestives or plain digestives and put 1 or 2 smores in the middle :) Better than usual smores :)

Any fruit - obviously adding in fruit is tasty..fresh fruit is lovely!

Ice cream - have an ice cream tub ready and when the smore is ready spoon some ice cream next to the marshmallow, between the wafers.

sweets - sprinkles, smarties, etc, but also try after eights or chocolate orange!

chocolate - a few chocolate squares with the marshmallow inside the smore :) mmmm......

ALTERNATIVE SMORES - sandwich marshmallows with waffles, crumpets, or croissants..

Stuffed Smores - stuff marshamllows and any of the above (sweets, fruit, sauce, etc) in a croissant and toast...mmmm....

I went to a dinner party during the summer where the hostess had s'mores for dessert. She had managed to find flavored marshmallows, such as chocolate, peanut butter, caramel, mint etc. and also brought in cinnamon graham crackers, chocolate graham crackers, chocolate dipped graham crackers, shortbread cookies, oatmeal cookies, and even pound cake that had been toasted. She also had different flavors of chocolate bars, such as chocolate mint, dark chocolate, milk chocolate with caramel, etc. Unfortunately I didn't get an opportunity to try everything, but guests stated that they were amazing!
