why are rapists still not punished?

Our govt is useless and they are proving it time and again.Instead of punishing the ones doing the crimes they are instead trying to protect them from public rage and bringing in 144 law made for emergency time in the country against a peaceful protest.

More of it is keep happening even after the girl's death.Woke up to read the news of another girl getting molested at Delhi,is the Indian society following any ethics or has it become a rape kingdom?.

Who knows it is a corrupted country may be they are looking for some kind of profit out of it.

Cannot even say if they are going to be punished or it is case going to be history.

The entire world knows what the truth is. Then, what are they looking for. Why there is even a case?????????. Everything is clear the girl died terribly the only thing is left are those DOGS. Why they are still alive. No need for case or court just hangs them. It does not matter how old they all adult or not they all must be hanged.

They should be hanged till death the govt will not do anything because the govt is filled with full of corrupted peoples they also like them. If they give them punishment then one time came when they also be punished.

I heard that the charge-sheet prepared by the police is about a 1000 page & the proceedings...the case is going to start tomorrow on Jan. 03.

Hope they are punished as soon as possible!!!

Because there are laws set under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Govt has set up "fast track courts" to ensure speedy trial.

They will undergo trial in courts, be proved guilty and then given justice.

The people in India have to collectively protest and make an uproar till this matter is seriously dwelt with and laws are changed. Unless the people of India make a big fuss things will not change, but there are people protesting and people across India need to make a stand and that this girl did not die in vain - she is saint.

Have patience! Govt. is deciding what punishment, they'll be given. Such things cant happen in a day. If it has to happen same day then it wont be India, it will become Taliban here..

Life isn't fair honey. It never has been. But rest assured my dear that when life comes to it's end...or the rapists die...whichever comes first, they will spend an eternity in hell unless they come to God. I have been assaulted and given in (even after I said no...so the cops did nothing even though by definition it was rape). I know what it feels like to see them walking around and hoping they don't do it to another girl.

I think Govt is waiting for sometime for protesters to calm down and to regain normal peace . also accused i think judges are researching the law books for to give best punishment at max extent . so lets wait and see . whole nation is waiting to hear that historic judgement , so its takes time only ...

There are some Judicial Process in a democratic country .

As I know it's on fast track.So they will have penalty as Ajmal Kassab did.
