it depends how you interpret the the most helpfully vague and ambiguous book ever to have existed.

some people claim that god hates gays, some people say that there is no evidence for that and god loves everyone. Basically, just think whatever the hell you want cos the chances are none of these people are right.

God loves all yet is willing to let us choose what we want. If we want to hate God, then God allows this. The words hate and reject mean the same thing in the Holy Bible. So if we reject God, God grants us our desire and rejects us. Souls feel this rejection as the pain of fire when they are in God's loving presence eternally yet rejecting Him.

No, God does not hate anyone. I don't know what people you speak of that say God hates homosexuals, or those who do not believe in Him, but that is untrue.
