Instead of Jesus Christ, why Santa Claus is coming to town?
Santa Claus is Coming to Town (Lyrics)
You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list
And checking it twice
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town

Why Santa Claus, instead of Jesus Christ??
11 AnswersChristmas6 years agoChristians, if Jesus is the Savior and the only Way, why did He kill the innocent children?
Here, read the Bible. Revelation 2:18-29
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revela...
These are the words of the Son of God (Rev 2:18)
20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. (Rev 2:20-23)
Jesus killed the innocent children for the sins of their mother.
Jezebel was a sinner who committed adultery. Jesus the Son of God had given her time to repent but she's unwilling. So Jesus punished her and those who committed adultery with her.
I understand why did Jesus punished Jezebel and fellowmen. But why did He kill the innocent children for the sins of their mother, not their own?

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoThe problem of the hidden God?
According to the Bible, when the Israelites wandered in the desert for forty years, God fed them by making food fall regularly from the sky.
Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. (Exodus 16:4)
During the 1980's, several thousands Ethiopians died slowly and painfully from starvation due to a prolonged drought.
Ethiopians are mostly Christians. (over 60%)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Ethiopia
So, believers of God (Christians) died from starvation due to a prolonged drought in Ethiopia.
God had then the opportunity to make food fall from the sky for starving Ethiopians, as the Bible claims he did in the past, in order to prove his existence, his power and his love. But he did not rain down food from heaven for starving Ethiopians.
Non-Christians would say that God did not manifest his presence because he does not exist. Or at least he does not care his people.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoCutting verses out of the Bible? why have these verses been removed from the Bible?
Following topic is extracted from "Chapter VI - A critique of the Bible" from "Beyond Belief" written by A. L. de Silva.
Cutting Verses Out of the Bible
Proof that the Bible has been tampered with is found on every page if one looks carefully. The text of the Bible is arranged into chapters which in turn are arranged into verses. As we read we will sometimes notice that one or two verses are missing. On page are reproduced some pages from The New International Version of Bible printed by the New York International Bible Society. Notice that verses 44 and 46 have been deleted from chapter 9 of the Gospel of Mark. Verse 37 has been cut out of chapter 8 of Acts and verse 28 has been removed from chapter 15 of Mark. How can Christians possibly claim that the Bible is the infallible and unchanging word of God when they cut out inconvenient verses and words? And why have these verses been removed?
About the New International Version –
The New International Version was undertaken by an independent committee in after a general consensus that there was a need for a new, contemporary English translation of the Bible.
With the help of scholars from all over the world, and multiple reviews from a committee of multiple denominations, the New International Version has earned the widespread respect of all Christians as one of the best translations available.
New International Version is not an obscure Bible version but a famous Bible version. Too many people read and use it. I also read and use it. It is my favorite Bible version.
Here is a link of New International Version pdf file. You can download and/or read it online. I just downloaded it 2 days ago.

6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy is a Satanist so smart?
Yesterday, I searched on google "Praise Satan" and I found a website namely "In Praise of Satan" http://inpraiseofsatan.webs.com/
This website is run by Reverend Laura Naysmith, one of Satanic clergy and you will see some of her sermons on this site.
I read FAQs http://inpraiseofsatan.webs.com/satanicfaqs.htm and she answers like that:
Q. Do you believe Satan is Evil?
A. No i do not,nor do I think Satan is all good either. He is beyond such labels.
Q. Do you hate God?
A. Which God is that then?I believe in the existence of many gods and Goddesses. I hate no deity. Hate is a waste of energy.
I like her some answers.
"I hate no deity. Hate is a waste of energy." - Reverend Laura Naysmith
I think this Satanist is so smart in answering questions.
What do you think of her? Is she a smart Satanist??
Note: I guess that Reverend Laura Naysmith is a lady because Laura is a female given name. If I am wrong, please excuse me.
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs it true that Apostle St Peter was crucified on a cross and he ask to be crucified upside down?
because he thought he was not worthy to die like his Master Jesus Christ who was crucified normally on the Cross.
I know that this martyrdom of Peter is not from the Bible but it is the major historian fact of the early church.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWho is the Father of God?
This question is for Christians and esp for Catholics.
Catholics usually say Ave Maria Prayer.
In the Ave Maria Prayer, they say "Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners".
Therefore, Holy (Virgin) Mary is the Mother of God.
So, who is the Father of God?
We all have father and mother.
Mary is the Mother of God. Who is the Father of God?
Note: I am an ex-Christian, an ex- Catholic.

This is a quote from Barack Obama.
"No, you can't deny women their basic rights and pretend it's about your 'religious freedom'. If you don't like birth control, don't use it. Religious freedom doesn't mean you can force others to live by your own beliefs." - Barack Obama

What if a girl gives birth to a child & says god is the father of the child? Why nobody believes a girl now but believed a girl then?
I just copy / paste it from twitter. It is a tweet of Taslima Nasreen.
Taslima Nasreen is a Bangladeshi author and former physician who has lived in exile since 1994. From a modest literary profile in the late 1980s, she rose to global fame by the end of the 20th century owing to her feminist views and her criticism of Islam in particular and of religion in general.

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAtheists, are you irreligious?
This is my first question in Yahoo! Answers.
I am an Atheist-Buddhist. As I accept both atheism and Buddhism, I don't think myself as irreligious. I usually listen to Buddhist sermons and I frequently read Buddhist scriptures, Bible and Quran. But I don't believe religion is important in life. I don't have any altar in my home.
And what about you?
Atheists, are you irreligious?
