Christians, if Jesus is the Savior and the only Way, why did He kill the innocent children?
Here, read the Bible. Revelation 2:18-29
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revela...
These are the words of the Son of God (Rev 2:18)
20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. (Rev 2:20-23)
Jesus killed the innocent children for the sins of their mother.
Jezebel was a sinner who committed adultery. Jesus the Son of God had given her time to repent but she's unwilling. So Jesus punished her and those who committed adultery with her.
I understand why did Jesus punished Jezebel and fellowmen. But why did He kill the innocent children for the sins of their mother, not their own?

You call these kids innocent. The bible teaches that there is no one on this earth that is innocent. God knows the heart, all we see ids the outward of a person. The bible teaches that ALL mankind is wicked and speak lies and is against God. This goes for any age group. Young and old. The young is also sinners, because they are mankind. As soon as they reach a certain age, the bible teaches that they lie, steal. God is doing what he know is best. Whether you see it as being mean or not. How can anyone even complain about God when the human race doesn't even respect him as they should.

My son is 22 years old, My daugher 27.. They are both my children..
How old are Jezebel's children according to the text? I don't see any age! The text says I will strike her children dead, Indicating a future event.. You are assuming they will be innocent when this future event takes place. I am asserting the event is being delayed to the future until they are guilty and worthy of judgment.

It's a cultural thing, hon.
It's true even today. Leave the kids alive, they grow up to embrace the ideology of their parents.
Look at what Palestinians have done though Israel has repeatedly backed off from driving them away after Palestinians have repeatedly, for decades attacking Israel, initiating attack after attack.
The Geneva Conventions froze our borders in many ways, some for the worse.
Leaving the culture to regrow just meant more death and destruction for your "mercy".
That was just unwise in a time period far more primitive and violent than our own.
Hard for us to understand, but that's the truth of it.

"innocent" doesn't appear in that passage.
We don't have sufficient data on the children of this woman to know whether or not they will do something evil.
The best example of Exodus 20:5 is Ahaziah, Joash, and Amaziah. THEY ALL DID WICKEDLY.
Therefore, GOD's "visiting" for idolatry was fulfilled literally "to the THIRD and FOURTH generation" (Ex. 20:4, 5).
Their names were therefore "blotted out" of the genealogy in Matthew according to Law (Deut. 29:20).
BUT THEY ALL DID WICKEDLY.
That is your proof of how Exodus 20:5 works!
BOOM!

Even Satan can quote scripture, and just like his followers, quote it to suit themselves. quote the whole verse, if your going to quote it.
23 And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
The bible tells us over and over, that sin leads to death. As this scripture shows, each one of us will give account for his/her life, there are no exceptions, and we will be judged according to what is written, not what I or you think it should be.
God gives us plenty of warning and even sent His Son to pay the penalty for sin, if we can accept it.
If we refuse His free gift, we stand alone and will be judged according to our choices in life.
James 1: 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.
You don't have to choose life, you can choose death, that is your choice, but my choice is life.

You don't describe how a sinner is innocent. Also, within the context, children can apply to grown adults because we have all been children of someone at some point in our lives. As long as God has been around, I could see why He would speak in that context.

It's like they inherited the great sin of that evil who deceives people( and NOTE: because of the great LOVE of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He even gave her a chance to repent from her sins,BUT she did NOT) like how we inherit sins from Adam and Eve. .
and God is not just a loving god, but a Just god, who hates sin and evilness ~

He threatened to kill them but he didn't do it.

No wonder there is confusion, your translation has twisted the meaning.
Revelation 20:18 KJV And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, *except they repent of their deeds.* 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and *I will give unto every one of you according to your works.*
The key to understanding this are these two statements -
*except they repent of their deeds.*
*I will give unto every one of you according to your works.*
Ezekiel 18:23 KJV Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? 24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. 25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal? 26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. 27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. 28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? 30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
God uses adultery as an example for us to understand how He feels when we are led astray from His love and His protection.
