What can I make with penne pasta that is not tomato sauce based?
I want to use up some penne pasta but do not feel like spaghetti type things. It also needs to be the main entree, so no pasta salad recipes please. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks!

Try a white sauce, white wine, a little cream, butter, and small amount of chicken broth. Paemesan cheese to top it off. Also green vegetables like string beans of asparagus look great with a white pasta dish presentation wise. A little sweet sausage would be great too.
