My boyfriend can't orgasm?

My boyfriend can't ejaculate. He can have dry orgasms but no matter what we do he can't ejaculate. He says he can't do it by himself either. He told me he hasn't ejaculated in 3 months. Every time we try he gets really close but never is able to get it all the way. Is there something wrong with him? Should he see a doctor? We are starting to get really worried.

Update:

I also want to mention that he is only 22..

Update 2:

He is not taking any drugs or suffering from depression or any real stress. He has absolutely no problem getting it up, he just can't ejaculate. He says everything feel amazing and every time he feels like its going to happen nothing comes out.

Has your boyfriend recently started taking meds for depression, such as Paxil, Lexepro or other SSRI's?

These drugs have been shown to interfere with a male's ability to ejaculate and or reach orgasm.

    Additional Details:

Ok. Is it that he IS having an orgasm, just not ejaculating any semen? If this is the case he may be having what is known as Retrograde Ejaculations. This is when the semen travels backwards toward the bladder rather then down and out of the penis upon orgasm

I think he's trying too hard and only focusing on ejaculating and not really enjoying the pleasure of having sex, not sure if this is happening within the first couple of minutes or within a span of 20, 30 minutes he need to enjoy the pleasure.

    Just me!

That's good. Now there will be a few less illegitimate children in this world.
