Why does my Xbox sounds go off randomly?

Whenever i play 2k13 it turns off in the middle of the game. It cant be the game because i just got it and it has no scratches.

    Even if you had sctraches it still shouldn't have any effect on just the sound.

    Check the red, white, nd yellow cables

    i think its your xbox or just the game was not created properly
