Hmmm, so you could spend hundreds of dolla on an iPod but can't shell out a few bucks for music?
Okay.
I can tell you how to steal music off the internet, but my answer would probably be stricken by Yahoo. Instead I'll warn you what not to do.
First, you can easily get free musoc by swapping flash drives with friends who share your tastes. You can also rip from their CD's, or those from the library.
You can record streaming audio from Internet radio stations. While Windows 7 disabled this for everybody using integrated sound, Freecorder manages to still work. This isn't quote ethical but I can't say it's illegal either.
You can steal music by going to internet sites...presuming they're not their to just get exploit codes installed on your computer. Even good sites can't verify the safety of their media since it's not really their media.
You can download from sites like youtube using programs like realplayer (you may need to get build 15), but you will still need to convert, and that's for files that had to be converted to get onto the internet in the 1st place.
You can use Torrents or peer-share software, but they've got a bad rep for several reasons. First, you've got to install software on your computer. That might include spyware. Even if the software publisherrs are trustworthy, hacked versions of the installer may be floating on the internet. Next, there's no way to guarantee that the files will be safe. Last, your IP address can be tracked by copyright troll lawyers.
