How often should I apply Dermatix Silicone Gel?

I have a scar that is 6 years old on my right hand near the knuckle of my index finger. It is a depressed reddish scar that looks like a scrape. How often should I apply the gel on it to get a very effective result? I want it to flatten, shrink in size and to become like my skin tone.

    1. Clean the scar with soap and water.

    2. Pat the area dry with a towel.

    3. Use your fingers to spread a thin layer of Dermatix over the scar.

    4. Wait five minutes for the Dermatix to dry completely.

    Step 1: Clean the area to be treated with mild soap and water, pat dry.

    Step 2: Cut the tip of the tube. Apply a very thin coat of Dermatix® Gel on the scar immediately after the wound has healed and rub it in.

    Step 3: Allow to dry for 4 – 5 minutes. If the gel has not dried, remove the excess product.
