Only you know if and what your dreams mean to you. If your dreams don't mean anything to you then they don't mean anything. Dreams are probably the result of memory consolidation and rehearsal.

Everything we do as an innate behavior is a genetically determined trait, which I note with the caveat that it is not always clear what behaviors are innate and which are learned. I think we sleep because our hominid ancestors being prey animals, e.g., to large cats, needed to keep still and quiet during the evening and night when predators were out and about. If our ancestors startled easily due to responding to external stimuli, they were more likely to be discovered by predators. Those that managed to keep still and quiet had a higher probability of living long enough to reproduce.

I think that is essentially what dreams are, more of that than attending to sensory data.

I think this dream might be telling you that you possibly need to focus some good quality-time attention away from a portion of the time that you spend in gaming. Gaming is fun but it can be over-stimulating as well : it 'busies' the mind. I think you are experiencing some 'noise' or brain feedback from possibly spending too much time in your gaming hobby.
