A question about the Beats by Dre headphones?

I know that the wireless and solo HD version of the headsets from the Beats by Dre collection sound amazing on apple devices, but I currently have a HTC EVO 3D and the sound quality is lacking in comparison to the sound from my iPod. I am interested in buying a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I want to know if I would get the same quality or better from my Beats headset or would I be better off getting an iPhone 5.

    Beats are basically for ipods.. and all i products.. but they work pretty well with other gadgets too..

    And anyways, you can always try out before buying what you actually need. Good luck!
