What speakers should go with my 20 watt RMS car stereo?
I just recently got a new stereo in my car, now I want to buy some speakers to go with it. Im just not sure which ones I should get. The stereo is rated at 20 Watts RMS. Some speakers I was looking at are 35+ watts RMS. I am most interested in some 3 way speakers I saw. They are both $79.99 but the Pioneer ones only have 35 watt RMS and the kenwood ones have 70 watts RMS. Which would be better or what should i look for when looking for speakers to go with my stereo?

You do more damage to audio system with underneath powering them than you will with over powering increasing the quantity of your automobile stereo to full will result in distortion to the audio system as a result of you are underneath powering them and after a while you are going to damage your audio system thats is why you will have to always healthy the rms to the amp to the speakers (supply or take 10%)
