Best brands for WOMEN's snowboarding gear?

So I've been shopping around online and I'm really disappointed in the amount of gear that's available for women. Not only are there usually about four times more options for men than women, but everything new seems to be researched and fit only for men in mind. This got me thinking: In your opinion, what are the best brands for women? So far I was really only impressed with Burton and Gnu. Burton claims to have tru-fit technology made around the foot of a woman (vs. just a smaller more flexible version of whatever other brands make for men, which they say *everyone else* does). Gnu seemed to have asked the opinions of women and somewhat designed for women. Ride, K2, and Never Summer were the other brands that I looked at that left me a little frustrated. What do you think?

If you are just starting out and have a constant budget, be certain to spent as so much time and cash as that you could to find the perfect pair of trainers then move on to the bindings and to the board. I comprehend it's no longer continually convenient to do, however I fairly advise you trying out as many boots as viable with a pair of snowboard socks on. I have been riding for four years and were to many locations (vail, heavenly, whistler) and have grown to particularly recognize a good pair of warm feet. :-) listed here are some directions: BOOTS are trying them on like you possibly can be in a position to journey. Bring your snowboard socks and tighten the entire laces and walk round at least quarter-hour. Most high-end boots have a kind-fitting liner which forms to the contour of your ft as soon as it warms up. You toes should barely touch the entrance of the boot whilst you wiggle them and you must simplest consider a slight heel raise when you're on tip-toe. In my opinion, I consider Salomon makes essentially the most at ease and easy boots out there. Steer clear of trip or K2. They don't look to have a good heel help. Are trying on a pair of Salomons and take a look at out their one-pull string lace. It'll prevent quite a few time and headache when you're out in the snow. :-) BINDINGS it's invariably a good concept to buy the boots and the bindings from the equal brand. Now not required, nevertheless it ensures the perfect match. Again, Salomon makes the quickest and easiest bindings. Burton and trip make very best bindings too. Keep away from K2 though. I in my opinion had some unhealthy experience where the ratchet simply snapped even as I used to be tightening it. BOARD Granted that you simply nonetheless have some money left after the boots and bindings, you will have to watching at some K2 snowboards. Considering you're just commencing out, you must off with a relatively first rate board the place you could conveniently follow riding and performing some tips. K2 seems to have much more affordable boards than every other organizations. And you will have to surely seem at Ebay. You will discover rather a lot used bindings and boards which can be still in excellent . Just right good fortune.
