Could i still have custody of my daughter?
My parents took me to court for custody of my daughter about a year ago however I never made it there and just recently I started recieving child support checks stating me as the custodial parent what does this mean could i been lied to. . . could i have custody still

call the family court. you didnt care enough to go to court, whats the deal now, give the checks to them, thier for the child, they are to help with rent bills drs food clothing diapers, if you spend them and shes not living with you, you can go to jail!

Lol NO you dont have custody. paying child support just means you are the legal parent that does not live with the child nor has custody but since you ARE still his/her mom, you still have to support the child financially aka "child support"
