What are some good types of shoes for a teenage guy?
Ok, so I recently turned 15, (I'm a guy, by the way) and I am pretty tall, and solidly built, with dark hair.
Up until a while ago, I just wore my white trainers as casual shoes, and a year or 2 ago, my friends mentioned it. It really didn't bother me much, but now that I'm older, and my current pair of trainers has pretty much worn out, I'm going to go shoe shopping.
So, what are some good casual shoes that I could get? These are the sort of shoes I'll be wearing to do casual things, like going out with friends, etc.
Also, I was thinking of getting some sort of boots, thoughts? Suggestions?
So, any advice?
(By the way, I'm about 6 foot tall (183 cm's) and I think I mentioned I have dark hair, and I'm also slightly tanned, but then again, a lot of people in Australia are.)
Thanks!
I should probably add, I usually wear jeans, that are a little baggy, a black, or dark coloured T-shirt, and quite often a dark coloured hoodie, or a black jacket.
I was considering boots, because they are usually dark coloured, and they go well with jeans.
Thanks for the answers so far though!

Take a look at some of these boot styles - they go great with jeans and you can find them in your black and brown darker colors too. Sounds like you already have dark/baggy jeans that look great with boots already. If you find out later you need something nicer, these boots don't look bad with khaki/casual slacks too. Hope this helps.

I'm the variety of character that's normally noticing peoples footwear. For guys shoe shopping shouldnt be too difficult however there are a number of ideas that will have to be adopted. 1. Dont look busted, i know now not all people can afford to consistently have "contemporary sneaks" however simply make certain your sneakers keep clean and hole free. If you happen to take excellent care of your sneakers this wont be a trouble. 2. I for my part can't stand those sneakers which might be like "chunky" i suppose you could say. Like Dc's...Yeah i dont like those. Three.I know some guys which can be over obsessive about their sneakers but there is quite no want for super flashy excessive footwear. Dont worry about it an excessive amount of. Keep on with some common vans, nikes or supras. As for colour thats particularly up to what your clothing sort is like. Simply get a flexible colour.

1st of all you sound cute ;)
2nd of all maybe some oxfords? Those usually look good on guys. Also converse and vans (low ones) are classic so I'd suggest those as well
If you're gonna get boots i'd suggest ones like these: http://im.glogster.com/media/5/24/28/13/24281389.j...
GOOD LUCK :)

Nike basketball shoes tend to look the coolest, but they're also not very high quality. If you're willing to buy new pairs often then you should go with that.

Get some Osiris Bronx (NYC 83), Osiris D3's (get size bigger than what you wear), Nike skater shoes.
