Question to Jitterbug phone owners?
Mom just got one of these phones a couple weeks ago. No idea where her paper work is at, so what does battery critical mean? She plugged it in but the phone did not keep a charge overnight. Any help from other owners would be appreciated
She has only used the phone for a week! So many great answers, thanks

In the following link, "How to Make Your Cell Phone Battery Last Longer" http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Cell-Phone-Batter... under the heading "Tips" it states :
"You should not have to turn off your phone to charge it. Most battery chargers deliver more than enough current to power your phone and charge it at the same time. Doing so will not lengthen the charge time, and leaving a phone on allows the user to be aware of its fuel gauge, so that you can remove it when the battery is full."
However, my own mobile phone and those I have had in the past would not charge fully unless turned off. It would take 36 hours to charge if left on and only 2 hours to fully charge if turned off.

It's just like any other cellphones, it could be a bad charger or battery, I would take it back or call them and see if she can get a free replacement.
