is the war in afghanistan simply a war on terror?

It's a war of corporate imperialism. There's a gas pipeline we want from there to India (which would compete with the one Iran wants to build). There is also an abundance of lithium in Afghanistan (used in batteries, cell phones, satellites, computers, etc).

Afghanistan is used as a way for the US to Terrorize both the Afghan people and the people of Iran, which many American Terrorists want to Terrorize and want the US to go to war with.

We had been successful in Afghanistan before Obama took over and extra troops weren't indispensable. Now that Iraq has been secured the terrorists now have joined the front in Afghanistan. It's a change in the scale of the Taliban with their new support. But, i'm definite they are pondering that Obama will say Uncle.

Yes it is a war on terror, one which sadly won't be won, but at least it's keeping their heads down, when we pull out along with you guys it will go straight back to how it has always been. The Taliban have vowed to make this so.

war on terror? hahaha what a joke.. this "war on terror" is creating more terror in world.. i dont know for what reason they are in afghanistan but they are stuck badly there.. there soldiers are dying every day , but they didnt show them to media. people of america why dont you protest? your soldiers are dying for no reason.

It started out that way, but Obama turned it into his very own Vietnam war.

Keep in mind, we are almost ALWAYS at war while the president is a Democrat.

So Obama has to keep at least one war going for his entire presidency.

We have absolutely no reason to be in Afghanistan. There's probably something there that some corporation wants. Like oil or something.
