x/24 = 14/16
16x = 24*14
2x = 3*14
x = 3*7
x = 21
b.
Find x using the ratio of the sides 7 cm and 8 cm.
x/12 = 14/8
8x = 12*14
2x = 3*14
x = 3*7
x = 21
