Do skaters really hate scooters that much?
I'm 16 and sponsored for riding a scooter, but I'm also good friends with everybody at my local. I usually impress somebody at a different skatepark that hasnt seen me before, but I feel like people (especially skaters and bikers) take it way too far when it comes to talking trash. I dont know, do people really not like it that much? or are they just trying to fit in with the crowd. The same thing happened with rollerbladers. People would call them names just because they were trying to have fun.

I'm a skater and i don't hate scooters or have nothing against people who use them.. But i guess not everybody might feel the same way.. Sometimes you get them knuckle Headz who just want to talk trash and put people down cause they think its cool.. They usually act like that when they in a group with friends.. . Sometimes they are bored chilling and just want to mess around with people..
I say ignore them ,who cares what they think just do your thing & don't let them ruin your fun. Etc.

That is not true many of my friends are using skateboards and I am having a scooter. I love it and even they never comments on my scooter.
