Favorite albums were the bass guitar is the most notable instrument?
In your opinion of course
For me:
Interpol- Turn On The Bright Lights
Gang of Four- Entertainment!
Arcade Fire- Funeral
The Smiths- Meat Is Murder (This is probably very arguable, but I think it is)
Joy Division- Unknown Pleasures
It's kind weird that all the albums I listed are post punk or post punk influenced.

Mother's Milk by Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's Flea what can I say?
Quadrophenia by The Who. Entwistle at his finest.
And I know you already listed it but Unknown Pleasures. I couldn't agree more there. Peter Hook's bass playing on that album is quite simply astounding, "Day of the Lords", his bass just drives that song along until Curtis yells "Where Will it End" at the end. Same thing on "Wilderness" Every single song on that album contains great bass playing.
