Because the whole thing is planned out before the season even starts. They decide who's going to win the championship, and who's going to lose to the champions. It's, for the most part, all fake. I mean, the players are very skilled, but like i said, it's decided who's going to make the playoffs and who wont before the season even starts. Durant vs. James is the next great NBA rivalry. Why do you think they played each other last season in the championship series? I guarantee Durant is going to get a ring this year. They gave James his ring first though because he's been around longer.

it goes through like small "eras" of good and bad years. When a team is bad, it is usually because their franchise player/players are getting old or retired. After this they are in a rebuilding process. After countless high round draft picks, season after season, the team will rebuild and can potentially be a contender. Take the Celtics for example, their franchise players are getting old and now they are below 500 when just a few years ago they won a championship and were dominant. Also the Clippers have built there team up after being an awful team and with a few trades and draft picks, they are now the best team (record wise) in the nba. Also the worse teams usually have bigger cap room so they can pick up some key players when they become free agents. the nba is a lot more balanced than people say it is.

Well you can thank Lakers management for the always being amongst the elite teams. But "good/bad" teams change every few years. The Clippers are a perfect example of that. You could also use the Heat as an example too. Also I'd say the Bucks are doing pretty well for themselves.

The Lakers tend to get all of the good players. They're a very attractive team to potential players.
The Celtics haven't won as often recently but they seem to know how to make a winning team in Boston. They are just a highly respected team that I'm sure players are happy to be a part of.
Texas has no income tax and so/and it's just a great place to get rich.

Some people think that a more balanced league would result in a higher number of quality games. That is one of the reasons that new rules are going into effect in order to mediate the advantage you get from being a wealthier team.

The Bucks are succeeding in our eyes. It is either a 8th seed or out but this season we are like 6th. I would like to see the Bobcats, Raptors, Wizards succeed but it is harder than it sounds. BUT in a few years while guys like DeRozan, Wall, Walker are All-Stars the Spurs, Lakers will be in rebuilding mode and they will be lower in wins. Small market teams are hard because when they draft good people like Wall, DeRozan, Jennings, these young players want to play for big cash and spot lights so they will eave through FA to go to a LA or a NY.

They are going through building years trying to gather good players take the las angeles clippers for example they weren't good they sucked then they got griffin and chris paul now their a good team so give it time for the bucks and bobcats to get better players.

Almost every team has been good at one point, they just fluctuate between time periods. Maybe in a couple of years the bobcats will be amazing and the heat will suck.

If alot of teams would actually go after 1 superstar in the off-season than they could have success. Cleveland got Lebron while they sucked and the Clippers got Chris Paul while they sucked.

Yes they are just in their building stages bobcats for example their doing better than last year it's because of their last 2 year draft picks last year it was Kemba Walker and this year it's Miachel Kidd-Gilcrist they're just building up their teams and they are still young so the young players are improving
