There's quite a few very well known fighters in the MMA world, many retired. You have the well respected Fedor Emelianenko, Royce Gracie, Mark Coleman, Mirko Cro Cop, Shamrock, Dan Henderson, Shogun Rua, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, BJ Penn, Bas Rutten, Matt Hughes, Randy Couture, Big Nog, Chuck Liddell and Anderson Silva. I might be missing some other names but that's overall the most well known and respected legends in this sport.

where are the like of mike tyson and roy jones and evander hollyfield when you need them? The most bankable boxers are puny welterweights nowadays, heavyweight super fights are as rare as babe ruth's autograph. In MMA dont forget Dos Santos, though he lost is title fight some days ago..
