You say "It is much harder to get help if you marry the guy". I'm guessing you mean help from the tax payers. Here is an idea. Don't have babies if you aren't married. Where are the men? I'm raising my son, after divorcing his mother. Never got a penny from her, or the tax payers.

You honestly need to look at better men. I got the GF pregnant when I was 19. She was 18. I was married, and in the military within 2 months so I could provide. we did divorce, but have aways got along for the most part. I think you should look for a man, and not a boy. I'm not trying to put a blame on girls. It seems all kids these days are out for themselves, and have 0 pride.

Then why do you have kids you can't afford? One of the two of you should be working and have insurance and I put it on the woman cause she is the one who is going to have the baby she can't afford so she should make sure the guy she has it with is going to stick around like in marriage or long term relationship and not a one night or maybe a week standing. It is also up to the woman, not no man to be using birth control. If she gets pg he's free as the wind, she will be the one tied down, do you really want to leave that up to men?

Politicians get paid to lie. They tell people what they want to hear to get a vote. They make money by getting kickbacks. Its all a big scam, like the judicial system. If you got into trouble and got a court appointed attorney you would trust him/her right? yup. Who does this person go to lunch with everyday? The frickin prosecutor. You give me Bill and ill give you Bob and buy you a nice fat steak. Politics, the same thing, but the steaks are much bigger. And its more complicated. There are huge companies, attorneys, drug lords, mafia, drug companies, oil companies, doctors, unions, the government, other countries, lots of money. Many people to keep happy. what do you want to hear? Who will give the most votes?

I believe we should close the loop holes on deadbeat parents (this can be the mother or the father) Don't have a job to pay child support? the government should have them picking up stuff on the sides of roads just like prisoners do. Hiding out, working under the table to avoid child support? Have them show up for a government mandated job every dam day. To many parents that expect the government to pick up their responsibilities. But then again, in todays society, seems like just about everyone expects uncle sam to pick up the bill for everything....even cell phones!

Republicans complain about welfare benefits period it's not just benefits the single women get.

And you changed from asking about single women to asking about single mothers, they are not the same thing.

Don't have kids you can't afford. There are all kinds of birth control available. There is NO reason why anyone should get pregnant "accidentally".

Sex leads to pregnancy. If you don't want to risk getting knocked up don't have sex with someone you are not married to.

People should rely on themselves and not ask for hand-outs from the taxpayer. If you can not afford to have a kid, don't have one.

Many republicans I know are happly married.

Ask the court system that overwhelmingly favors giving children to mothers.
