2003 Ponitac Grand Am Starting Problem?
About 2 months ago I stopped to fill my car up with gas and after I filled it up it would not start. I thought it might be the battery, but after a jump it didn't start. I had it towed to a garage and they determined it was the fuel pump. The fuel pump was replaced and it ran and started well until yesterday when it would not start. Once again a tow truck was called and I took it back to the same garage since the repair was covered under a warranty. They once again said it was the fuel pump and blamed it on a faulty fuel pump from the factory. This morning it took 3 tries to get the car started. Am I just getting bad fuel pumps or is there another problem going on here? Let me know what you all think...Thanks!

it could be that the fuel filter needs to be changed ! the filter could be collecting dirt and keeping the gas from getting to the engine !

Have them check the fuel pressure regulator. These go bad for absolutely no reason. It keeps your car from starting, or if it goes bad while your car is running, it runs rough, and then quits.

No idea what you replaced, notwithstanding a thanks to fix it really is to not commence replacing issues and spending funds to confirm if that does it. call the tow truck, and characteristic it towed for your mechanic, the position you will pay once to get what ever the project is fixed the first time.
