Ahhh. Why is it someone with epilepsy has had over 200 jobs? One seizure and it is out the door. I study chemistry and physics. Medicine. Machine and tool. Build small racing engine in my free time. Can cook the finest foods. Have impeccable references. One being worked for a company that made some of the most hi-tech parts for the Hubble space telescope. I was a plant operator for an anaerobic digested, a structural engineer for awhile, I can operate a boiler and run any heavy machinery. I went to school for programing and volunteer as a site moderator for a growing website. Read prints, wire harnessing, electronics. Die cast set-up and machine operation. plastics too. Quality assurance. The list goes on and on. The epilepsy word. If those companies were sued I'd be a rich man. People are people. They had to know after I was hired in case something happened. The one or two week check was nice. I should have been honest up front during the interview but then would have never gotten hired. People like me are too big of a liability. So we sit at home and give our wisdom away for free. Planning fishing and snowmobile shin digs for the community, or stand in the cold and ring the bell. Pick up trash out of the ditch. Restore junker motorcycles and laugh when people say that we are not part of society. I have walked to work many many times. 10 plus miles one way in winter, then back home after seizures, working 12 or 14 hours in a factory. I was homeless. I am intelligent enough to rob banks and get away with it or "cook dope" With my disability I am being the most productive person possible. Sure society frowns upon it,sucking on the teet. I am open for new ideas but truly believe all my avenues have been exhausted. So if anyone has openings disabled persons that is great. The talk about equal employment opportunity bs crap. what was not mentioned or all those forms that you sign when you get hired. They are all written by attorneys. you're employment is all voluntary and either party can terminate the agreement at any time for any reason. So employers can do what they mr. or mrs. smart guy. And as far as getting unemployment. Many times lies are made up are the employer makes you sign a waiver, so kiss those good bye also. Workers have no rights. you almost need an attorney to get a job.

Yeah.. I have to agree with the first poster. I don't see anyone not hiring someone who is ugly, sick, or fat. Most employers hire purely through skills and professionalism. I deem lazy as someone who is late to work, don't do their job right, irresponsible, and/or refuse to do anything at all. You can't be lazy if you have a job.
