Why do a lot of people criticize Lana Del Rey?

Music is subjective, not everybody is going to like the same thing. Also, Lana Del Rey is on of those artists that you have to listen a couple of times to get in to. Her sound is great, but for some they just can't.

Any popular figure will face alot of criticism.

As people get more and more successful/popular more and more people will hear about them. Everyone has their own opinion. So the more people that are familiar with them the more opinions there will be of them.

Because she sounded like a dying walrus on Saturday Night Live with I think it was Daniel Radcliffe hosting. You should watch it she sucked it was hilarious

I'll admit, Video Games is a great tune . . . but everything else off her debut is unattractive. I can see why people like her, but I just don't like her that much.

Her music isn't that great. I just listened to her on Pandora and didn't like it

She sings like a drunk lady with Down syndrome

Never heard her music.
