Can anyone tell me what happened to Jennifer Esposito in "Blue Bloods"?

What I mean is,what was the real reason she was removed from the show?

    Jennifer Esposito has Celiac desease, which is a serious disease that her doctors forced her to cut down her workload. She had to go from working eight days a week to a three-day work week. CBS, instead of making allowances because she really complemented Wahlberg's detective role as an actor, suspended her without pay and kept her on contract so that they limited her on what other work she could get for the 10 o'clock timeslot. She is, I guess, going to work on a reality show for the E! network sometime in 2013...
