You can put Stockport, Manchester, UK.........
or just Stockport, UK. What you are missing is the postcode?
You can look that up online using the postcode finder.

STOCKPORT is in GREATER Manchester (Metropolitan County....Manchester, Salford, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Stockport, Trafford....)...NOT Manchester as such, nor is it an area, with an M POSTCODE, outwith the city authority area.... and hence does NOT have a Manchester postcode, but an SK (Stockport one.....) SOME would still put Cheshire, even though it is NO longer in that county......
Name
123 Main Street
STOCKPORT
SK1 3NJ
(Cheshire)....optional as is postcode and house number that matter.....
UK
YOU need the full postcode which is similar in format to what I have put...There is a website with such.....
Source(s): Live in GM....Have M, WN, BL, OL,SK, WA postcodes ALL within Greater Manchester.....Parts of Wigan ,Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside and Trafford have M codes as does ALL of Salford.....SK postcodes extend ALSO out into the COUNTY of Cheshire PROPER, as well as into the neighbouring DERBYSHIRE Peak District.... - shoredude2Lv 78 years ago
You should have some sort of postal code, which I don't see.
Stockport is on the approved list of post towns. So nothing else would be needed. And its post code should start with SK.
So if you're sending from the United States, it would be
John Doe
123 Main St.
Stockport
SK (fill in the rest)
United Kingdom

You DO need a postcode, go the the postcode finder site and type in the real address and get the code. Then it will definitely arrive at its destination.
