Did you ever have close encounters with the supposed spirit...?

when i was about 17 or 18, i layed down for a nap in the middle of the day.

i heard a knock at the door and stood up and walked into the next room to see a spirit floating above the back steps so that his head was half covered by the door header.

i waved him off and went to lay down again. when i heard the knock at the door again, i had to struggle to breath again, i got up and went to the back door where a 13 year old kid was looking for a mutual freind.

when i visited SLC i prayed for protection from the spirit of God i fell alseep at the deseret industries parking lot. when i woke up, my head was covered by blankets or a comforter as my eyes were closed, I could see a spirit hovering above me.

on another count, i was invited to say an opening prayer for priesthood quorum and while i was standing if front of everyone, a vision opened up in my mind with my eyes closed, it started out like a star, morphed into a sphere, and then into a pillar and then into the form of a man and then into an image of a man.

while i was defending the act of masturbation as a misdemeanor, here on R&S i was parked at walmart when an image of an angel appeared and i was basically told that masturbation was a sin

another time i was parked at my dads house and i was saying my prayers and a spirit appeared behind me and proceeded to lay his hands on my head.

during that season, i had 3 visions of jesus christ. and when i was about 16, i had prayed with pat robertson to be baptized in the holy spirit, which is part of being born again, and an angelic type personage appeared in my bedroom

as for sex dreams i was always plagued with sex dreams, even since i was 13 years old. undercover angel was a very popular song. and then when i was about 34 , i realized that Lotts daughters drugged and raped their own father and had children. he testifed that he never knew when they came in or when they left. see genesis 19. its called the wine of fornication in teh book of revelation.

so, it could be said that drugs cause halucinations of succubi and incubi. it could be said that i suffered brain damage or that i was continually being drugged which caused me to see the visions and spiritual experiences. thats what liars and atheists will have people believe.

P.s. there is verification continually, and repeatedly, the guy who said the above answer is totally self-deluded.

prime examples are found in the bible. but if a person is already going to lie about historical facts, he is not going to believe even if someone is raised from the dead. verifiable proof exists in the LDS church scriptures. on at least two occasions, Joseph smith and Oliver Cowdery beheld the same vision while they were both praying. and if thats not enough, in the book of mormon there are 3 witnesses that testify of both seeing an angel appear to them and gave them the brass plates, and some heard a voice.

I don't believe any such beings exist. Why not? Because in the course of human civilization there has not been one confirmed sighting, one objectively reported instance, or one verified encounter with any such being or entity. Not one. Ever.
